Pattaya has a plethora of spots apt for family travel, to suit all tastes and expectations. While the kids adore the Underwater World for some fun learning, the shopping market is a go-to place for all. There is also a popular entertainment show and a temple, two contrasting places, that can complete your family travel to the city of Pattaya. so many tourist places to visit in Pattaya.

Coral Island 

One of the most popular of the beaches in Pattaya, Coral Island is a tropical delight with the best of activities to do. Also known as Koh Larn Island, it offers pretty sea views and adrenaline-boosting water sports on its shores. With a chance to experience underwater sea walking in clear waters, the island has tourists thronging to it. For the ones not very adventurous, the option of soaking in some sunshine while getting a foot massage or enjoying delicious meals and refreshing coconut water is an option. In the Gulf of Thailand, the island is about 7 km from the coast of Pattaya and comprises of six main beaches, all well equipped for tourists. If you want to have a lot more activities, especially with the kids, go on an outing at one the water park situated about 30 minutes’ drive from Pattaya. The Cartoon Network Amazone and the Ramayana Water Park are amongst the best.

Buddhist Temples

A bit of spirituality with a visit to a holy site indeed completes family travel. In Thailand, a visit to a Buddhist shrine is an obvious calling. Between a forested hill in Jomtien and south Pattaya sits a giant golden Buddha in the Wat Phra Yai temple. This mega sculpture dates back to the period when Pattaya was a small fishing village. Tourists can walk here from the southern end of Walking Street in Pattaya. there are also so many things to do in Pattaya.

Floating Market 

Besides the streets of Pattaya, the busy waterways also await the tourists. Pattaya is home to one of the largest floating markets in the world, which is a shopper’s paradise and is also a unique display of Thai culture. Everything from traditional, handmade toys and silverware to textiles is sold on the numerous floating boats, some of which also sell fruits, vegetables, and local delicacies. And while you won’t tire yourself away walking the lengths of streets hopping from a shop to another, you could definitely end up with swollen arms due to rowing. there is also walking street Pattaya available.

Alcazar Cabaret Show 

A rather popular show in Pattaya, the Alcazar Cabaret started in 1981 with about 100 performers and a theatre with a capacity of only 350 seats. Over time, as the popularity amongst domestic and foreign visitors grew, a grand and modern theatre with 1,200 seats was opened in 1990. Today the show is a global hit and is one of the best artistic experiences to have in Thailand. Complete with state-of-the-art lights, sounds and other technology for stage arts, it leaves its audiences enchanted.

Underwater World

The largest aquarium in the region, the Underwater World is on the bucket list of almost all the families that visit Pattaya. A very entertaining as well as educative experience, especially for the children, it has several interesting and interactive arenas. There are touch pools and koi fish feeding sessions. The 105-meter long glass tunnel with sea fish and other marine species gliding above you is the highlight of the experience. Home to colorful corals and exotic marine life, Underwater World is like a school on sea life but with rather fun classes.
