The highlight of my first trip to Thailand was definitely the speedboat tour on a day when the waters were choppy, dark clouds gathered and the waves came and hit our faces. The looming, giant cliffs jutting out of the ocean near the crescent-shaped Maya Bay, where Leonardo DiCaprio’s The Beach was filmed, are fascinating.
I absolutely love Thai food for the fact that there are so many option for vegetarians! I also love the fact that while being packed with flavour, Thai food is light and fresh. Another thing I love about Thai food is the balance between sour and sweet. That is what really makes Thai food interesting for me!
Thailand felt like home from the first day I visited the country. The best part is the way it welcomes Indian weddings. You can just book the hotel and forget about the rest. The floral decor, entertainment and cuisine are just stunning. It's as if the country is tailor-made for Indian weddings.
